Overview:
The Makerverse Summit 2025 campaign was created for the organizing committee of a DIY Maker & Hacker community event. The summit celebrates creativity, shared spaces, and technological innovation across domains such as electronics, 3D printing, and traditional crafts. My role included designing a cohesive campaign across a poster, brochure, and website to attract attendees and raise awareness about the summit.
Design Decisions:
The color palette combines blue and orange to convey energy, technical innovation, and creativity. Hexagonal elements were incorporated throughout the designs to reference 3D printing and symbolize structure, precision, and collaboration. Interconnected grey hexagons with smaller blue ones inside create depth and guide the viewer’s eye while reinforcing the hands-on, community-driven nature of the event.
Typography choices support the visual identity and accessibility: Rockwell for the main logo emphasizes boldness and empowerment, Frutiger ensures readability in print, and Roboto provides consistency and accessibility for the web. Layout, color, and geometric elements were strategically combined to highlight key information, such as speakers and schedules, while reflecting the keywords ‘dynamic,’ ‘collaborative,’ and ‘inclusive.’ The campaign successfully captures the ingenuity and community spirit of Makerverse, engaging attendees across both print and digital platforms.
